C. Project Description: The owner is seeking to enter a contract with a general contractor for renovations and improvements primarily consisting of replacement of the HVAC controls system, the replacement of selected HVAC equipment, the installation of additional HVAC equipment, and the structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection and architectural renovations necessary to support the new HVAC work. .
D. Bid Documents for a Stipulated Sum contract may be obtained from the office of the Design Professional free of charge from their website www.gmb.com/bidsets
E. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount.
F. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document
00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders and Document 00 31 00 - Available Project Information.
G. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate.
H. Please note State of Michigan Prevailing Wage requirements apply to this project and contractor compliance will be required.
I.Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission.
J. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
